  1. I am unsure . This ship log is from the USS Dade identification number apa99 attached to 54th division 18th squadron amphibious flotilla Pacific fleet.
  2. Ship logs are full of accounts of shooting down Japanese planes. Making landings dropping marines etc.
  3. Would this be one of those flags u s soldiers would scribble on and sell to each other ?
  4. This came in a large ww2 bring back grouping. A bunch of guns and other items ship logs etc. Stuff has been sealed in a box since 1947

  10. I have had this for awhile. I am having trouble with translation of kanji on bottom as well as the two figures displaying written words on sides of vase. Any idea of age and where made and artist would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

  20. guys i am to pickup another wartime bringback, this one is a wakizashi. any help is always greatly appreciated. please know i have tried to crop and rotate the photographh but it still uploads sideways, sorry about that...
  21. Interesting. I will have to bring this up with him, he had shown me some beautiful true san mai katana that he had made. Said they went to Japan. Guy is pretty skilled and a true craftsman. Not sure if he would be comfortable with me mentioning his website on here. Anyhow he had asked me for a few ideas for different styles of hapanese blades.
