  1. You have just wet my appetite Mark, where is the rest of the blade? hehe I know, in the air, please show us the whole blade when you can. BTW is it Bizen?
  2. I'm excited guys, i am just 10 minutes away, been saving for this one, i hope to explore how soft the market is? hehe I will bring a few swords for sale/trade at reduced prices of course. http://www.ncjsc.org/SF_token_kai.htm
  3. Looks Chinese to me, if it was mine i would use a brass rod on the Mekugi and then a wood steak to drive out the blade, then we can be sure if it was made in China or not IMO.

    STRANGE WRAP

I have the same wrap on a Wak and the same thing happens with mine, i was thinking of using a little glue to stop it from moving, but i fear using too much glue and making a mess out of it.
  5. It's up to $5,100.00 with 35 minutes left, up $850 in the last few minutes!
  6. I got my second email today at 3:45 AM no less. hehe
  7. Hi and welcome Fred, good to see you here, being a customer of yours, i would like to see a What's New page?
  8. I think for the money they are fine, real ones would cost many times more.
  9. "Let's be careful out there." from "Hill Street Blues?", yes me too, your showing your age Brian! Wait a minute, i am showing my age as well! LOL hehe
  10. I got one today as well, i agree with the above.
  11. Cheers Mark, looks great to me, very tight leather rap, black, silver Waves, silver Dragons go good together and if your happy, that's all the counts IMO, fun it the name of the game!
  12. I have heard them called "monkey's hands". http://www.militaria.co.za/nihontomessa ... 1b7c27c089
  13. Maybe because they are fake Stephen, this one sure looks like if fits you statement above.
  14. The Attachment doesn't seem to work?
  15. Here's one that maybe the real deal on Ebay right now, looks used and has finger grooves cut into the shiasaya as well as some wood taken off the top for a better fit.
  16. There are 32 Kanetoshi smith's listed with one Kanetoshiyuki son of Kanemitisu, KAN 2616 to KAN 2647, rated 8 to 50.
  17. There is junk made in China every day on Ebay by the 100's if not 1,000's, no need to pay it any special attention, look at JOKE with it's 1001 pictures no less! http://cgi.ebay.com/Japanese-SAMURAI-SW ... 1|294%3A50
  18. Looks like Charles Chaplin's bowtie to me and those horizontal slots were made so it can spin like a propeller no matter which way Charlie spins it! Could those slots be for a locking device, like some sword canes have?
  19. Hold on to your horse George, someone will help you asap and Aoi will get back to you soon i'm sure, check Japan's Time Zone, it is 3:35 AM right now. hehe
  20. It has been up for auction on Ebay a few times, that IMO tells me it might very well be pricey. Prices are down somewhat now and it is a nice looking beefy Wak, but if i had the money to spend on a Wak, here's one i might go for from a highly trusted dealer with paper and signed with ranking. BTW i would need to see better pictures on the one in question, i need to see the hada etc. before i bid on any sword. http://www.aoi-art.com/sword/wakizashi/08456.html
  21. I think the tittle should be "Made in China", Caveat emptor!
  22. Hi and welcome Keith, good to see you here, you came to the right place, how about some pictures of the blade, both sides and the Tsuba as well. hehe
