  11. Many thanks Matt for the links. The picture of the nakago of the sword seen few days ago. Nagasa 63.8 cm 3.1cm moto 2.1 cm saki sori 1.6 cm kissaki length 3.5cm kasane 0.7 cm short yakidashi with ko nie gunome midare , ko maru boshi with long kaeri sujikai yasuri mei.

Hi, There are 3 dai of kanekage in edo period. i found oshigatas of them, two in the mino to, one in the kanzan sato oshigata number 49 ( shodai or nidai ?) and a other in the fujishiro (nidai written). I'm little lost ... Shodai mei begins with mimasaka kuni only ? nidai use both mimasaka kuni and sakushu with fujiwara ? sandai use only sakushu without fujiwara ? kanzan fujishiro Mino to Other oshigatas are welcome........... I could add a nakago of a kane kage that i seen few days ago. Thanks.
  14. Ce forum n'est peut être pas parfait mais il a l'avantage de rassembler des personnes connues et reconnues dans le mileu.....Je ne me compte pas dans le lot. Il vaut mieux être un petit chez les grands qu'un grand chez les petits, on y apprend plus de choses surtout dans le milieu du sabre. Ce n'est que mon avis. (jean traduira cela en anglais) May be this forum is not perfect but here some members are well known in the nihonto world.......Not me of course.
  15. Bonsoir, Il vous faut démonter les poignées pour voir si ces lames sont signées... You must remove the handle of these blades to see if there is a mei.
