  1. Show the whole blade without habaki. This partial details say nothing.

The three nakago ana makes no sense on a wartime blade. It indicates often an older blade.

In older times the nakago filemarks where used to mark owner for sword and koshirae during assembling.

According to you Brian Vajo was wrong?

Jacob you sword is so wrong in all parts. It is cheap and sloppy made. The dremeled Kanji are total wrong and nonsense. This is a garbage ugly copy of something that would like a Japanese sword. A $25 wall hanger in a chinese snack bar somewhere in asia.

Dig it in your garden. Wait 1.000 years and it will be an ancient artifact. :)

Dear All, I would highly appreciate your help with deciphering the name of the man who made this sword.. I think my own translation could be wrong because ... well I say no more.

    Many many thanks, JacobPHOTO-2024-03-29-11-32-40.thumb.jpg.15cd2c0aa7b3da18e4c35344ec8af3f0.jpgPHOTO-2024-03-29-11-32-39.thumb.jpg.d46b7a9846fea1e9059108537deeff70.jpgPHOTO-2024-03-29-11-32-31.thumb.jpg.5e18b4668dd686088f47c4c2b5033cfa.jpg

Feng Chu Chan from Longquan made this sword in his first month as swordsmith at the "Traditional Japanese Sword Factory Longquan China, limited Co & Son".  They use T12 steel made from the river Tarim which is the same steel as Kublai Khan made his swords from. Btw the company has only made 75000 swords like this. Yours is the number 74916. A real treasure and i would say its worth a lot of money. Because of its unpayable worth you should bring it in a museum. So everyone could see it. Thrust your own thoughts. Everyone wants to steel it from your collection.

  5. Some things look good, some are bad. I dont like the lower part of the tsuka. The upper part is perfect. The seppa looks lower quality. As Bruce notice the over stamp of the fuchi is curious. Overall i think the sword is legit.
