DESCRIPTION:\n	\n		Kitano Tenmangu Shrine\, located in Tenmon\, northwes
	t of Kyoto\, is a shrine dedicated to Sugawara no Michizane. \n	\n\n	\n		
	 \n	\n\n	\n		To mark the 1\,125th anniversary of Michizane's death in 202
	7\, the Kyoto National Museum will hold a special exhibition showcasing 17
	 National Treasures and Important Cultural Properties from Kitano Tenmangu
	 Shrine\, as well as items related to Tenjin worship from across Japan. \n
		\n\n	\n		 \n	\n\n	\n		For the first time ever\, the entire Kitano Tenjin
	 Engi Emaki (Jokyu Version)\, a National Treasure\, will be on display\, a
	long with many other Important Cultural Properties\, including the Koan Ve
	rsion\, Mitsunobu Version\, and Mitsuoki Version\, showcasing the legendar
	y birth of Kitano Tenjin. \n	\n\n	\n		 \n	\n\n	\n		Also\, the two tachi s
	words \"Higekiri\" and \"Hizamaru\"\, both designated Important Cultural P
	roperties and held by the Kitano Tenamngu Shrine and Daikakuji Temple resp
	ectively\, will be on display for the first time together during this spec
	ial exhibition. And further more\, the Kyoto National Museum has advised t
	hat Photography will be OK!\n	\n\n	\n		 \n	\n\n	\n		Additionally\, throug
	h works discovered through research by the Kyoto National Museum and the K
	itano Cultural Research Institute\, as well as a number of masterpieces ha
	nded down at Tenmangu Shrines\, Tenjin Shrines\, and temples throughout Ja
	pan\, the exhibition will unravel the diverse aspects of Tenjin worship th
	at have not been discussed much until now\, and the important role that th
	ese have played in Japanese culture.\n	\n\n	\n		 \n	\n\n	\n		Held in the
