I have owned this sword for many years, having bought it at an auction, but know very little about it. Any information would be gratefully received.

Very interesting sword, really like the non gunto tsuba on the gunto mounts. Perhaps a closer shot of the mei. ....maybe Masamichi?? id liked like to see it closer. Very collectable for the Military crowd.

Very hard to read...could it be WATANABE MASANOBU...? There was a WWII Seki swordsmith of that name.
