I have seen this listed, and re-listed quite a few times, it looks nice, but $ 99,000.00, WOW...

I wonder how much it costs him to list it every time with eBay, and especially since he has the " BUY IT NOW OPTION " which cost more money to list it.

I'm not knocking it, or anything, just thought I would let everyone else see it.

If you run a search first, you will see that this tanto has been discussed several times.

Insanity:1) doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.

A. Einstein

Let me add: 2) Listing an average tanto for say, 20 times what it is worth....

Sadly some poor sod somewhere will eventually buy this. I visited an Italian chap in the early eighties who had one Gunto but a room dedicated to the third reich, he confided in me that a dealer had "Allowed" him to buy some rare and valuable items including Herman Goering's Dress sword and another belonging to Heidrich....only on the basis that he never showed them to German collectors or published anything re him or the collection.........See what I mean.

Probably the same that tried to sell me the skull of Goering when he was a child.

I think if an item is listed under antiques, art, or collectable categories there's no listing fee unless it sells, definitely a little overpriced though.

Lance
