Help with MEI and Opinions on sword

I have the opportunity of puchasing this sword. Can someone help me translate and date the MEI. Also an approximate value on the piece would be greatly appreciated. I have been told it is in mint condition with mint blade.

hard to call a price on a sword without it in hand...gunto are going anywhere from 850 to 2500 depending...

I am unsure, but doesn't it look like "Fujiwara Masahiro saku (藤原正廣 作)"?

森山さん、It's a hard call too. Fujiwara definitely, but the last two characters are hard to identify from this pic.

Any more luck deciphering this MEI? If its is a Fujiwara Masahiro product what would be the approximate date it was made?

Approximate date on your sword is WWII. It looks to be a Gunto in quasi civilian mounts.

Thanks for all responses. I feel more confident puchasing the piece now. Initially the fittings looked too new but have obviously been well preserved.

So the correct maker of this piece would be 'Fujiwara Masahiro'?
