my recent purchase

Hello everyone. This is the first time I am posting on this site. I just bought my first nihonto(I have wanted one since I was 5). I did what I said I would not do I got it on ebay. Any help that anyone can offer in placing what time period or school this katana came from or any other information about it would be very appreciated. Also some advice on who to go to for shirasaya and habaki would help out. Here is the link to it.

Not too much that can be seen from those pics. You will have to let us know when it arrives, and post better pics.

Looks reasonable, but will have to check out the pitting mentioned and get a close look at the hamon and hada.

It's not a fake..so at least you skipped past that that right of passage :lol:

I'm curious how the state of the blade was when you get it, because in the pics there wa not much to see.

Are you having it mount?
