Early Edo Jidai Wakizashi..signature translation help needed

Hello all!

I'm new to this forum but was excited to have stumbled upon it during my online research. I've had absolutely no luck so far trying to read the 'kambun' inscription and need some help in actually deciphering it. I'm also looking for verification that this particular wakizashi may have been smithed during the early edo period. Any help is much appreciated!

Kanbun inscription:前伯列信高入道

Thank you for the reply! Yes, you may be correct that that is the mei...all the kanji are the exact same EXCEPT that 州 (shu) is clearly missing.... Would you happen to know why one particular character would be blatantly omitted from a signature.... It's strange. I'm also trying to post a photo so that you can verify with your own eyes but I'm not having the best of luck....
