Tang translation

Hi everyone,

I am not a collector but have done martial arts for the greater part of my life.  I came across this in an antique mall in Vermont.  It's in rough shape, rust, looks like delamination on the blade, and a  broken saya. They let me take the handle off and it was signed so I bought it because I liked its character.  So I was wondering if any one can translate it and give me any information and maybe even a quote of what something in this bad of shape would be worth (I have a feeling I overpaid).

One of my law-like principles is "Never argue with Ray"

and I agree that this nakago has a fresh appearance so I thought it might be a Showa era blade. I didn't find a stamp, tho. And I just couldn't make this anything better than a " Mori". The cross-hatched yasuri-mei looked fresh, but also correct for a vintage Mino-to.

It was a hip-shot, colleagues!

I bet we all want a closer look at the tsuba...

Three smiths listed as Seki Kaji Tosho signing with Kanehiro.

With this "啓" for "Hiro", John?

I wasn´t able to find an smith signing that way (actually I lack the references ;-) ). So I hesitated to answer, cos this can also be read as "Aki"...
