Partial Tokubetsu Kicho Translation

Recommended Posts

Hi, I've been trying to translate this tokubetsu kicho paper that I got that came with a katana. I can make out parts of it, but would appreciate if someone could help me figure out the handwritten (non-template) parts - really just what's above the brackets and anything else I missed (I think I've got the smith name, length, and paper date)

I can make out the 兼元 (Kanemoto) in brackets but can't really tell what those two characters above are. I believe the text below the brackets has something to do with length 分  (height? 2 shaku 2 sun 1 bu) - this is based on info I got about the sword

As for the date, I believe it's 昭和四十四年十一月二三日 (showa 44 year 11 month 23? day) which translates to November 23 1969.

I need to find a better way of typing kanji instead of copy pasting after translating individual words...

I am not literate in Japanese in anyway so would really appreciate any corrections + translations

Hi Grey, thanks for the response.

Did you mean the two characters above the brackets are mumei (無銘) or did I confuse 無名 (mumei) with 兼元 (kanemoto), characters in the brackets?

The reason I'm asking is that I thought attributions were supposed to be given in the brackets (according to this)
