Is the guy whacking a snake in one of those? Reminds me of my grandpas he had to the kill all rattlers that he could get to. Some of these are nice looking to me and tempting: the anchor, the marugata (looks like tachi tsuka) with zogen near Mimi, and others. The dragonfly has interesting texture that almost looks like steel grain (but way too uniform to be more than a surface technique I’m sure). Good prices I think, for starter Tsubas like I would want if I was in the market right now (saving for a trip).

Yes, they guy is whacking a two headed snake. I have even found his name in Jolly's book but no tale to go with it:( 

 

And yes, dragonfly texture is made with a surface techinique.

And to add some information I am fairly certain that no. 1 and no. 3 are modern made. And I know that no. 2 is modern made.
