Budget is not extremely high, but also not unreasonable. Just looking to see what's out there. Koshirae and Smith prominence isn't the highest priority, just looking for a blade without hagire. Noticed a few over 28", not seen that many at 29". Chris2000 Posted April 29, 2019 Author Report Share Posted April 29, 2019 Hey Alex, My iaijutsu school (Shinshin-ryu) uses long nagasa blades, around 32" nagasa. I know that they're somewhat rare in the nihonto world but I've developed an appreciation for the daito / odachi. Obviously I won't likely be finding a gunto longer than 28-29" nagasa, but a gunto on the longer side would be nice too. I'll check out those links, thanks!
