Making more of an impression on the Sankin Kotai than other Daimyo trains? Makes sense, until everyone was forced to cut back on expenses. Or it could be a special order, or a smith's swansong, etc. (?)

When they say 'cracks', do they mean chips, I wonder?

And they have not yet figured out the difference between:

a) there are few cracks

b) there are a few cracks.

It's a general disclaimer on all her items. Just in case kind of a thing, where the buyer needs to look real good at pics to determine "is there or isn't there".

Personally I think she's using "cracks" to describe general damage with possibility of hagire. Send a message asking about hagire and depending on item, you get a yes or no answer.

Make sense?
