I am puzzled with this one?

Recommended Posts

NBTHK paper from 1987.

Mumei. The attribution is to Sue-Sa (or various other spellings, but try that one and you should get a few hits).

Doesn't look like orikaeshi-mei. Its more like a gakumei, but without any remaining identifiable marks on the gakumei. Slightly unusual, but maybe the mei was once there, but has since worn off from handling?

The mei within the gakumei might have been found to be false and was removed. I have seen that a few times. Would have been quite easy to transpose the mei from a fatally flawed sword with an authentic signature, into a healthy high quality osuriage mumei blade.

Yes, that makes sense, gukumei (mumei worn off ?) with original mekugi-ana. What is the nagasa on the origami? It must have been quite long, estimate?  SA indeed, love it!  Thank you all for info.

All this info is right here, and I have no idea why you don't know that:
