Hi Frank

one mon is from Akechi Mitsuhide. He lives 1467 - 1568 at the sengoku period. I think the Fuchi Kashira is Edo Period. So it is not a piece that was weared by Nobunaga's General.

Its a nice and attractive piece which was made late Edo i think.

Frank,

These are very elegant, beautifully executed pieces, therefore I'd say they were made no later than the early1840's.....well before the flood of revivals, foreign influences, and economic considerations set in.  As for school and maker, Shinsa is your best hope for a useful answer, everything else would be a shot in the dark.

Chris,

that would mean he died being 101 years old. In fact this is the time of the SENGOKU period, Akechi Mitsuhide (明智 光秀) lived 1526 to July 2nd 1582.
