"Published by the Nihon Token Hozan Kai (NTHK) in 1979 under the leadership of the well-respected Yoshikawa Koen, this very difficult-to-find book visually documents, in oshigata with a few photographs, some 150 swords inspected and categorized by the NTHK as ‘Yushu-saku’. Each of these 150 swords has a description and remarks in Japanese, and translated into English in a summary section of the book. This was the first of three catalogues published during Mr. Yoshikawa's life; many experts find these Yoshikawa NTHK volumes fascinating and useful because many of the selected swords are by sword smiths who are not well known."
