Kozuka Attribution

I was just bought this lovely (and highly detailed) kozuka as a gift from a family member, and would appreciate help with an evaluation. Kaga Goto was suggested to me by a couple of individuals, but would love to hear other's feedback. The piece will be in-hand in the next day and I can provide further photos then if helpful.

Kind regards,

It is a curious piece, also quite beautiful and finely executed.  From what I can see the nanako is very fine and regular.... This fact, along with the tight execution and  inlay style, are the most  probably  reasons for the Kaga Goto attributions. Could be, then again.

Better photos should throw clearer light on the matter.

I thought Kaga Goto.

Late Goto might be a decent call too, but the design struck me more as Kaga. Why? Just a reflex based upon the design and execution. Kaga Goto had a fair share of katakiribori- just not at the Somin level.

I do not have my copy of the Kaga Kinko Taikan available at the moment, but probably it would be good to go through it. A similar example may be found.
