G'day all, this is the first tsuba that i collected a number of years ago, I posted it to the forum at that time but did not get any reply regarding the school or form.

I believe it is copper and the sepia dai shows the marks of previously mounted seppa. I would really appreciate a starting place on this one if anyone cares to comment.

I think it is yamagane, but hard to say from your pics. The sukashi style is rather rustic and if the material is yamagane, it could be ko-kinko.

Thanks guys, yep i've always found it to be a bit of a mystery, i have no doubt that it is original and was at some stage mounted but that's about the extent of my supposing.
