If a member i hope they show after cleaning. With my eyes i could not see the layers but was told the red mokume is there.

Well done, somebody made a very nice buy.  Fortune favors the bold!  As I said...should clean up well.  If it needs attention there is plenty of wiggle room(cost wise) considering the price paid.

Hi folks,

 

today I stumbled across this old thread and remembered a guri bori kojiri, which is still lying in my bottom drawer. Is anybody looking for such a very rare part to complete a guri bori koshirae? The patina is not in best condition and it would pretty much benefit from a professional revision, but it is still real guri bori (even if the layer patina is very hard to realize).
