Yes, acid washed. looks like a blade from eBay seller Daimyou .. he has lots of acid washed blades and much if his stuff is garbage or things nobody wants to buy in Japan for a reason or another. A seller whom I can not recommend. There are better Japanese vendors out there with better qualiyt stuff.

 Here we go again!..... Marco, do you have any other information to share on this blade? Nakago pics, is it a live auction (there are rules about comments on such) and if so who is selling it and the sellers information on it.

This "piece" was offered to me in a Facebook group, found it on yahoo afterwards. Got it offered at 2400 Dollars... Even worse that it's at ~750 Dollars on you yahoo right now with a decent amount of bids.

"going pretty well" implies that something is currently being done to the sword, rather that was done in the past. Is this sword in the process of being polished?
