Nanako, Gold Silver, What School And Period?

Looks like copper base, nanako pinching, silver and gold.
I don't know if the work is Japanese, but it's intersting because it's really close to early Japanese fittings.

if Japanese interesting because it means the item travelled to Japan, if chinese, intrresting because the technic would also be used in China.

The item is a ming dynasty scholar plate made from zitan wood.
