Daito sword by Mimasaka kuni Tsuyama ju Kanesaki available.  Comes with two sets of papers.  Submitted twice over a number of years, each confirming signature.  Especially large signed katchushi tsuba with umbrella motif.  Deep shakudo fittings.  Blade length 29 11/16" (75.4 cm).  Unusual size.  Big sword, big mounts.  Impressive to see and handle.  $4895

Matt, it would make sense for you to post which papers the blade has. NBTHK, NTHK, Hozon, TH, or what?

Dear Malcolm.

You are right of course but why puzzled?  Standard NTHK kanteisho envelopes as far as I can see.

Or have I missed something, which is quite likely.

All the best

This is a nice length Daito. Do the papers state the generation?

Thank you Geraint, I have only seen NBTHK, so did not know how it was designated NTHK; but then, I am very easily confused..........  :)
