no, incorrect. hahahaha

thats what we tell our selves, when we have missed something special.

they are all one of a kind, and we just settle for something simular or better. that's why we all remember with extreme detail things we should have bought or never sold.

the only one true thing is , ' we are only temporary care takers for the next generation"  this is the only TRUE constant is this hobby.

fades, trends, high or low prices all change, but if we do not care the them they will fade into obscurity.

I say this a person who has sold many great pieces,  several listed in books. I can only hope they survive to live for another 100 or 200 years but but but

yesterday is history, Tomorrow is a mystery and this is what makes today a present

so I cant spend all my money taking my family fishing and travelling.

and so you should, I posted it as a bargin price

but on the other side researching a unrecorded smith in nice mounts for that price was a good deal.

dealers would most likey as ask 4-5 k for one like that as a gendai.

but lifes like that, we always pine for the missed sword

Hamfish the blade was mumei.

The signature was a sword test from the yamada family from tokyo.

I think the blade was late edo and not a showa blade.

I found that out as the auction was over. That blade gone cheap for that price.
