Traditional Blade In Gunto Mounts

Hi, does anyone have a traditional (gendaito or otherwise) blade in gunto mounts for sale? My budget is around 1600, looking more for good condition than a high Smith ranking.

I think you must pay 1.600 CAD for a nice Showa-to. A gendaito in good condition ist around 1.800 - 2.000 US-Dollar from a medium to high smith.

We've seen many Gendaito for sale here for around that price. He isn't asking for a fantastic one.

Sorry I meant 1600 USD not Canadian (the exchange is pretty rough for us so my budget reflects that XD) I thought emura's were pretty high quality?

But ya I am shooting for a middle of the road quality if possible nothing fancy as long as there is no edge damage. Hope I'm not buying more than I can chew with this.

$1600 usd is pretty tight, gendaito would be in quite rough condition to go for that price. Your best bet might be a shinto mumei blade in average condition.

 

ATM your budget puts you in the good condition showato range.

could be a genadai, but a mumei gendai usually has a reason to be.

I think the request may be reasonable as said, but if in good condition (with good reputable smith) it is maybe difficult to acquire at that price.

Looks like a Gendaito. (Edit: it is a wartime blade i think)

The Koshirae is very nice and it seems in very good condition. You got the blade for less.
