Wtb Type 3 Pattern 1944 Tsuka

Hello again, just to follow up my initial post, is this a fairly rare item? I had hoped to save some money by buying a sword at auction that was missing the tsuka because I had seen several gunto (type 98) tsuka's for sale seperately. Was this a (another :)) big mistake on my part?

I am really hoping to find the correct tsuka so this sword can be whole again and start my collection.I had a gunto type 98 as a teenager that I stupidly traded away and hope to collect a representative WW2 example for sentimental reasons and then learn enough to purchase a decent quality gendaito.

After purchasing my 1st sword (a chinese reproduction of a 98) I have lurked extensively on this site hoping to learn enough not to be taken again :) Any information would be greatly appreciated, thanks James R.
