the mounts have been made to fit the blade post war, so IHMNO not work much as its a "thrown togeather piece"

 

serveral points

-fresh metal in the mekugi

-seppa have poor finish, larger then normal on the inside- 

-the throat of the saya has got sloppy modifications to fit new habaki by removing wood

 

and if your wealthy enough to have a koto tanto put into your dirk mounts, they most likely would have been a bit higher in quality, as these appear to very crude, almost late war
