Mei Translation Please, Possible Gunto Or Fake?

Hello,

I am being offered a sword that looks gunto to me - nakago file marks, bo-hi, polish, etc. seem gunto. Of course I am no kantei, so any additional feedback will be appreciated.

Mei is on one side only, nothing on the other. There does not seem to be an armory stamp or serial numbers, but then again none of the photos show the full nakago...

 

 

 

Can you please translate this mei for me? And, if you know any information about it that would be very much appreciated.

The nakago sure is shiny for an 70-year plus blade!

Nakago files marks (yasurime) are never parallel to the edge and back of the blade. Very crude kanji, I fear the worst....

More likely Chinese than gunto, huh? Thought so...

Don't think it is one, but I have seen a similar nakago on a James Raw (Rawblades) sword.
Just check that it isn't, as they are sought after for practice.
