Could someone read that Mei? (Tomoyuki 友行) ??? Sorry i can't do it better... 

And if possible the meaning of the horimono on the blade. I think it's sanskrit?

IMHO the bonji look strange and somewhat crude compared to well-executed ones I have seen.  Even the way the kanji TOMOYUKI are incised looks not quite right to my eye.  Are we looking at a higher end Chinese knockoff here???

He said from the tip to habaki the sword is 63 cm.

Maybe we want to go in a trade. But I'm not sure about the signature and the blade, because it is short.

Yes i see it stephen. But i thought if it is a naminohira school koto sword there are often some ware. What you think?

I think i count a half a dozen (pix 3 alone) or should say stopped counting there. In long run you would be very sad, in the mune not so bad rest of the blade??, i shudder to think how many more there is.

Got some pics more today the blade looks old. Not the best pictures, but with photoshop i try to see the shape of the blade.

But there are some dark places around the horimono. What you think? Maybe fire damage?

It looks like a stout blade but how much is he asking? Kissaki would need fair amount of work, who knows if the temper has been shot from buffing/sanding, how many ware/hagire are obscured.....
