Looks like it has the late war shell type Kabutogane variation as seen on Dawsons page 180.

 

Don't see those too often.

dont have Dawsons book, we use to call marine mounts, i know they're called diff now.

 

im sure ill be corrected by military collectors. Nagamitsu are often found it them along with other star stamped blades.
