Peter Bleed
This was a very interesting offer. I am trying NOT to buy swords (for a variety of reasons) but I was very tempted by this sword. I met Miyagi-san in 1970 when he was just beginning to get back into swordsmithing. After the War he was making kokeshi, but he became re-committed to swords. He served as leader of the the Miyagi-ken NBTHK group and his son (I think??) remains an active smith and kantei-ka. This is a very significant part of recent sword history!
