Ebay Sword Churning

Hi All, For a while I have noticed some certain sellers buying under different names then reselling under another. I have noticed very fine lines where they have been resurfaced and then offered for resale. In a matter of a couple weeks. Notice blade before 122470419721( sale of blade) and just listed resurfaced 222522101599. I know it is not proper to comment on live auctions, but I did it for comparrison. What is being done to the blade for resale? The sad part is an unsuspecting buyer will not know that it was resurfaced and purchase it. I will not call it a polish because it is not. Thought this was a topic people might like.  Regards, John

I know of at least one person who buys under one name and sells under another.  This person appears to be relying on sword business as a main occupation.
