Hi all,

I am not sure if this Tsuba is Aizu Shoami, Edo Higo, or something else, but it it is an attractive little Tsuba that has some beautiful dark shakudo and some gold inlaid into the iron ground to depict a boat tied to the shore below trees and some geese flying overhead. The ura depicts a rock with some plants.. The Silver fukurin finishes it off beautifully.

Wakizashi size. 74mm x 69mm x 5mm.

Nakago ana is approx. 25mm x 7.5mm.

Asking $350 (AUD) plus PP and post. PM if interested.

Thanks for looking.

Barrie.

Price reduction. - $275 plus postage.

My Tsuba has many similar traits to this Tsuba, - http://www.aoijapan.com/tsuba-mumei-attributed-as-aizu-shoami- notably with the gold inlay and the design, which is why I thought Aizu Shoami; however, the shape of the ryohitsuana made me wonder.. I thought they were Higo-ish..

Thanks for looking.

Barrie.
