Higo-san
Dear all, I am looking for a spare nose part for one of my menpo. It is a black lacquered middle to late Edo period Nara Menpo with brass teeth. The condition of the nose is not so important for me as the menpo will go into restoration anyway! Barrie B
Hi Chris, You may have to commission a nose piece... Probably a few people that could do it, but here is a suggestion that come straight to mind.. http://katchushi.com/showroom/karasu-tengu-menpo.html All the best, Barrie. Higo-san
Thanks for the link, Barrie! I guess that commissioning a piece will be the only option left in the end - however, I will give myself a couple of month time (an a trip to Japan) in order to try and find an ancient piece!
