Dear Members

Because our club owns its own printer, and that printer is nearing the end of its usefullness we have experienced some delay in mailing out our newsletter. We are extremely sorry for the delay and for the hole this may leave in your ongoing studies. However we are pleased to announce that the back issues are ready to print and you should be receiving them shortly.

We always appreciate your input on our publications and we look forward to seeing you all on November 20th.

For November we will look at wazamono, tameshi-giri and tameshi-mei. Swords of cutting ability, testing of swords and cutting test attributions. Famous blades make their reputations on their cutting ability, let us see how sharp you all are. Look over the attached list and see do you have a wazamono in your closet? Bring in your sword, lets all learn what a cutter is and dont forget we have a nice kantei-to lined up for this month as well.
