Some research here says not Netsuke, but have been wrong before.  This is a bring back by my father from WW2.  Was in the Navy, all over the South Pacific on an LST.  While I'm waiting on delivery of two swords* thought I'd research display items to accompany them.

*Second time around, had a few blades in the late 60's,early 70's, starting again.
