I have a friend who is getting married and his soon to be wife would like to buy him a katana as a present. He would like a katana length with a nice looking blade and koshirae (not gunto). He isn't a collector and doesn't know the technical features of a sword, but would like one that obviously looks good to an average viewer and has utility (though it will be a decorative sword I assure you ). Hamon preferred not to be suguha. There is really no requirement beyond this and budget. A decorative sword to look good in the man - cave. USD $2,000-2500.
