First impression Chinese attempted copy from the 1950s or 60s but could be newer than that.

Collect IJN/SNLF swords, dirks, headgear and Nihon-to.

Hi Zoido,
This is definitely not a nihonto. There are a few signs but the most obvious one is that the quality of the steel is very poor. When you look at this blade, compare it to pictures of unquestionably real nihonto, either from this site or many others. The hada of a real sword never looks like that.
