kunitaro
Iron Tsuba Maru--gata, Tsuchime-ji, Maru-mimi. 6 starts design Size : 6.9cm x 6.6cm x 0.3cm. Nakago : 2.7cm x 0.75cm, I have been cleaning this tsuba with deer horn for about a year, 95% of red rust is gone, well forged steel, hammered surface with tekkotsu, very nice dark original patina. The mimi looks Kakumimi-koniku, but, when it is in hand, it feels more Maru-mimi. Early Edo or older, 175USD + PayPal fee and shipping.

Brian
:rotfl: :rotfl: I set one of the fancy features of the forum to automatically replace abbreviations for some words with the full word. So typing "nuks" posts "menuki" and "Jap" posts "Japanese" But I wasn't thinking that waki-Goto is going to become "wakizashi" Goto. I'll change that one now. Btw, that kozuka is a steal. Someone jump on it Brian
