To read the whole story about the topic's name please refer to part I. The sale is about a beautiful tanto tsuba which is signed Goto Mitsuaki Kao (I cannot guarantee the signature but a quite well-known Japanese tsuba dealer confirmed it's authenticity to me). According to the signature this wonderful piece of art was made by Goto Hojo (the sixteenth Goto mainline master) in the middle of the 19th century. This item is in need of a patina restoration and is damaged on some parts of the surface. Dimensions are 6.8 cm x 6.0 cm (nakago ana being 2.5 cm x 0.9 cm) I am asking EUR 600.00 (which corresponds to about USD 800.00). Payment via PayPal is possible.
