pre 1800 and reserve not met, I’m not sure about this, some thing is niggling me at the back of my mind “pre 1800� Then I found this, if the first piece is not what it seems then this one has to be genuine, it is his Twin Brother isn’t it for $24,500.

...I'm really no nihonto expert but the blade (especially the hamon) looks like a modern made reproduction (Paul Chen etc.) and not "pre 1800"...

...Do they really think, one would spent so much money on eBay for these pieces :? ?

The seller says no one really knows the age of these swords. Sorry to disabuse him but I know the age. They were made tomorrow, in China.

They are fakes.

Oh Jon, you mean they are not even pre 1800 fakes I’m gutted I was going to get a loan from the Mrs for two, then I thought about that slap I got from her and that put me off asking :lol: In answer to your question no I did not notice the other 200 I stopped when I found the twin brother.

BTW the first slap was for the suggestion I made when I found the "make an offer button" I did but said it out loud :lol:
