good day folks. this has been discussed in two places on this forum and I thank all that tuned in to help with knowledge. for that I would like to offer this fine piece for the first time here to all members. if sale is completed here I will give a healthy donation to forum. this is a beautiful koto wakizashi. it has a beautiful Ayasugi hada, like breaking of ocean waves through out the ji, and ha touching the very cutting edge. . the cutting length is 16 inches. 1inch and 1/16 wide blade, blade is nearly 1/4 inch thick. the blade has no fatal flaws (kizu) and no hagire. it is a wide thick blade with high shinogi-ji sloping towards the Muni. there is some beautiful Utsuri , koshi-sori and saki-sori. the blade is mumei o-suriage. im leaning towards Gassan school. it has beautiful all matching goto fitings, gold dragon theme. the blade of the kozuka is signed daijo fujiwara suksada (6th generation) i believe. the fuchi kashira is signed goto shujo kao (mitsutaka) 13th goto master . the wrap on the tsuka is perfect and mint, the ray skin is of the highest quality and shows 3 large bumps. the seppa are gold and match, the habaki is two piece gold. nothing mismatched or gobbled together. very elegant original sword bag which is included as well. the whole works for $6500 shipping included. thank you.

thank you for both tuning in. I was personally leaning towards Kenjo (7th) gen for the kogai and kozuka. I actually found mei on the fuchi kashira, not sure how i missed that? lol.. nothing else has mei. ive been having a go at the mei with no luck thus far. here are pics -
hello folks, thank you in advance for your knowledge and time. I have a set of fittings and the Kodzuka blade is signed Bizen kuzuke daijo fujiwara sukesada I believe. can anyone help correct or confirm the mei or validate this please? im a little rusty on mei as im just picking it back up. also I have some fittings over in the Tosogu section im trying to get ideas on school and period. if any of you folks would be so kind to skip over to that post and have a peek please and give me your input. i would greatly appreciate your knowledge. im not getting any feedback on them . ive included a couple pics of fitting to show quality of the Kodzuka. thank you very much .
