| Yitzy, The tanto is interesting. As well as being Jumyo, for which I have a weakness but, it is katashinogi. Is there really on the hira/kata side no bevel to the edge but actual chisel form? John |

Hi,
The wakizashi has been often polished, the soe-bi has almost vanished on the ura side. |

Yep..which isn't all that uncommon, and yet it appears to still be nice and healthy. Looks like a very nice blade. Work out the cost of polish and papers, and it is a decent item.

Hi guys , thanks for the kind words, the pic with the hill was not taken in Chicago Yes the tanto is beveled on one side and completly flat on other side, very interesting forging method. Even thought some of the sohi was polished down on the wakizashi is extreamly healthy , its a real meat cleaver with some nice activities , Regards and happy new year, Yitzy |
