Brian -
Just wondering when the switch over to the
new forum will take place officially. I've already
changed the URL on my message board links page.

Rich,
If people are happy to do the switch over, and there aren't any outstanding serious glitches (none that I can see) then asap as far as I am concerned
Would have done it a month ago if I didn't have to sort out links and the look to suit all the "requests"..lol
How about from this comming Monday?
I'll announce it later on the weekend officially, and then lock this forum for new posts and we can switch over.
Btw..the other forum is active..so anyone is welcome to start posting there anytime.

Seems like the sooner the better as people are still posting on the "old" forum. Will be a shame to loose some good posts.
I guess bad habits die hard !
Why not start Feburary 1st 0h00 hours (French time of course )

1st Sounds good, but I do need the weekend to arrange the new link, block new posts here and a few other logistics, so let's look at Sunday the 3rd sometime.
If you have new posts, you can start posting them there if you like to get things started. Make sure everyone who signed up after Christmas goes there and re-registers.

I've noticed that although one of my threads has been moved over, it is shorter and has lost the photos at the end. Is this common?
cf The relationship between Daimyo & Katana Kaji, Thurs Dec 20. 7 posts in the old board, but 6 in the new?
Oh, and we lose our messages, too? (Unless we copy and paste them somewhere?) _________________ Piers

Posts after I did the conversion weren't carried over (no way to do it)
I think the conversion happened around the 26th or 27th.
I planned on moving over sooner, but some emails and pm's gave me issues to sort out first.
